“Nrithya Shree” Smt. J. Jegatheswary is a founder and inculcator of Nandha Natyalaya, who is running the dance school successfully for the past 19 years in Meena Estate, Coimbatore, had tutored more than 1000 dancers. Apart from giving the basic dance practise to the students, the school enables them to check their dancing skills by providing a platform in the public carnivals and in the Temple festivals.

In 2014, our students presented a beautiful performance in Delhi Tamil Sangam. Depending upon the capabilities of the students Salangai Pooja is performed and the students who excel in the dance are given Arangetram.

Not only that, she also conducts dance festivals with specific titles, in order to dedicate the dance by making all her students to participate being impartial towards them. Apart from this, interested students are trained to attend Grade examinations and Certificate examinations conducted by Annamalai University and other Institutions.

Adding feather to the cap, in Chennai, in the year of 2017 about 5000 dancers and in the year of 2020 about 10000 dancers along with the students of our Nandha Natyalaya performed a dance for 30 songs of the world renowned Thirukkural for the Guinness Book of World Records.

As, it is well known to all that the Natyanjali is the highest event in classical dance which is conducted at Chidhambaram and also the other places like Thiruvaiyaaru, Tanjore, Kumbakonam and Madurai in Tamilnadu.
